I have 26in waist and 36inch hips. I bought it in Sky blue medium. There was a lot of room in my waist area, but I was too scared to buy the small because of my hips. I might have been able to size down but I'm not sure. It's stretchy and roomy and very cute! I can definitely wear a belt with it but it may scrunch the waistline up. Great quality
